Edwin, Rider of the Event Horizon

Meet Edwin, the statistically fragile constant in an otherwise very destructive apartment he shares with Grock the orc. While an orc roommate handles problems with brute force, Edwin tackles the universe with equations, coffee, and an alarming confidence in theoretical models. Captured mid–dynamic balance at a skate park near the beach and tanned for once in his life, he’s atop a skateboard. this sculpt explores what happens when advanced physics notes collide with poor life choices and questionable housing arrangements.

The pose leans into controlled instability: arms extended like a living thought experiment, body caught between momentum and gravity, as if Edwin is actively testing whether equilibrium is a suggestion rather than a rule. Light clothing, casual academic vibes, and a very un-heroic setup help sell the joke—this is not a chosen one, just someone who absolutely overthought standing still.

This piece is a celebration of contrast: brains versus brawn, theory versus practice, and the eternal mystery of how this human is still alive.
