Here’s my take on Nappa from Dragon Ball Z, sculpted in ZBrush with a slightly stylized, almost toyetic feel.
I wanted to lean into his over-the-top Saiyan presence, so the proportions are pushed—big shoulders, thick limbs, and that solid, grounded stance that just screams confidence (and maybe a little intimidation). The hands-on-hips pose felt like the perfect way to capture his personality—calm, cocky, and ready to wreck something if needed.
The armor sticks close to the classic design, with that deep blue suit and gold plating, but I kept the shapes clean and a bit simplified to match the stylized direction. The oversized shoulder pads really help sell his silhouette, making him feel even more imposing.
For the face, I focused on getting that signature look right—bald head, strong brow, and the mustache—while keeping the expression intense but readable. He’s not mid-battle here, just standing there like he already knows he’s the strongest guy in the room.
Overall, this was a fun study in mixing anime influence with a clean, sculptural style. Trying to balance accuracy with my own spin on the forms was the main goal.
