This project was created as a **commissioned 3D sculpt** based on an original character designed by another artist.
The client provided a 2D character illustration and requested that the design be translated into a fully realized 3D model. My goal was to remain faithful to the original artwork while adapting the character for a three-dimensional format, preserving the distinctive silhouette, costume elements, and overall personality of the design.
The character's formal attire, including the bow tie, glasses, and monochromatic costume, presented an interesting contrast to the stylized anatomy and exaggerated proportions. Throughout the sculpting process, special attention was given to maintaining the clean graphic shapes of the original concept while refining the anatomy and forms needed to make the character work effectively in 3D.
This commission served as an exercise in interpreting concept art, solving design challenges between 2D and 3D mediums, and ensuring that the finished sculpt accurately reflected the client's vision.
