Another chapter in the ongoing adventures of Grock the Orc. This time, Grock trades the battlefield for the open frontier, sporting a weathered cowboy hat, high boots, and enough confidence to stroll into any town like he owns the place.
For this sculpt, I focused on creating a fun fantasy-western interpretation of the character while continuing to explore anatomy, proportions, and form. The exaggerated musculature and relaxed pose were designed to give Grock a larger-than-life presence, balancing strength with a bit of personality and charm.
The tipped hat gesture became the centerpiece of the piece, adding a sense of attitude and storytelling without relying on weapons or armor. From the glowing eyes to the simple frontier-inspired accessories, the goal was to create a version of Grock that feels equally at home in a fantasy world or a dusty western setting.
This character was **sculpted entirely in ZBrush** as an anatomy and character-design study, with a focus on clean forms, silhouette, and expressive posing.
