G.I. Robot - ZBrush Sculpt
A fan art sculpt of G.I. Robot, the legendary mechanical soldier from DC Comics and Creature Commandos.
This project was created entirely in ZBrush, focusing on translating the character's military aesthetic into a stylized yet functional robotic design. The sculpt combines hard-surface mechanical elements with classic combat gear, featuring a steel helmet, tactical webbing, camouflage fatigues, utility pouches, and articulated robotic hands.
The goal was to capture the rugged battlefield presence of G.I. Robot while preserving the distinctive robotic anatomy that makes the character instantly recognizable. Particular attention was given to the mechanical joints, panel separation, and worn military-inspired equipment to create a balance between machine and soldier.
