Scarlet Spider – Digital Sculpt (ZBrush)
This piece is a high‑resolution digital sculpt of Scarlet Spider, created entirely in ZBrush with a focus on stylized realism, clean anatomy, and strong silhouette. The character is posed in a classic crouching stance to emphasize balance, tension, and agility—core traits of the character’s identity.
The sculpt showcases detailed anatomical forms beneath a simplified suit design, ensuring the musculature reads clearly without overpowering the costume. Particular attention was given to the shoulders, arms, and legs to reinforce the character’s athletic build and grounded pose. The mask and eye shapes were kept bold and graphic to maintain recognizability while fitting the stylized aesthetic.
Clothing elements such as the sleeveless hoodie, wrist wraps, and footwear were sculpted with an emphasis on believable thickness, folds, and material separation. Hard and soft surface transitions were carefully refined to create visual contrast between fabric, skin-tight suit, and accessories. Surface detailing was kept intentional and clean, making the sculpt suitable for further steps such as retopology, texturing, or 3D printing.
This project demonstrates skills in character anatomy, pose design, stylization, and clean sculpting workflows in ZBrush, and was created as a portfolio piece focused on strong character presentation and production-ready fundamentals.
