Grock's Doppelgänger as The Recruit from Another World

Dragged from a brutal fantasy universe into a modern military base, Grock’s doppelgänger has adapted to Earth life in the most predictable way possible: by immediately becoming a walking tactical experiment.

Possessing skin dense enough to shrug off impacts that would cripple a human soldier, the armored brute has caught the attention of the U.S. Army, who now see him as the perfect candidate for high-risk missions no ordinary operative could survive. Unfortunately, while his body adapted quickly… his mindset absolutely did not.

Still wearing his war helmet like the apocalypse might restart at any moment, the alternate Grock grips his weapon with the same intensity he once reserved for battlefield survival. To him, every hallway is a chokepoint, every loud noise a possible ambush, and every briefing probably the beginning of another war.

Created in ZBrush, this sculpt was focused on blending fantasy warrior aesthetics with modern military imagery while keeping the character’s uneasy “fish out of water” personality intact. The contrast between ancient survival instincts and contemporary firepower made this one especially fun to design.
