Nightwing

**Nightwing – 3D Sculpt (ZBrush)**

This piece is a stylized 3D sculpt of Nightwing, one of DC Comics’ most iconic heroes. The goal of this project was to capture the character’s balance of agility and strength while pushing the forms toward a slightly exaggerated, heroic anatomy.

Nightwing is presented in a confident, upright pose, holding his signature escrima sticks—ready for action but composed and controlled. The costume follows the classic black suit with the bold blue bird emblem flowing across the chest and shoulders, emphasizing motion and rhythm in the design. The mask and hair were sculpted to retain that recognizable silhouette while adding a bit of personality through sharper shapes and stylized flow.

The sculpt was created in **ZBrush**, focusing on clean topology of forms, strong silhouettes, and readable anatomy. The musculature is intentionally stylized rather than hyper-realistic, giving the piece a graphic, almost animated quality. Careful attention was given to proportions and surface polish to make the character feel both powerful and dynamic.

The glossy finish on the suit contrasts with the softer skin tones, helping the blue accents stand out and reinforcing the iconic Nightwing color scheme. The figure is mounted on a custom base featuring the Nightwing logo, tying the presentation together as a collectible-style display.

This project was a great opportunity to explore character stylization, anatomy, and costume design while paying tribute to one of my favorite DC characters.
